About Eforto: Our Mission to Enable Healthy Longevity

At Eforto, our vision is to redefine the healthy aging landscape through innovative solutions that are accessible to everyone. We are a MedTech innovator dedicated to empowering individuals, healthcare professionals, and researchers with the tools to proactively monitor and improve physical resilience and vitality.

Our Mission

Our mission is driven by three core pillars:

Early_Detection
Early Detection

To monitor muscle health and vitality capacity to detect pre-frailty before symptoms arise, enabling preventive action.

Convenience
Convenience

To make monitoring physical reserves and vitality capacity as convenient and routine as measuring blood pressure.

Global_Leadership
Global Leadership

To become the global leader in vitality capacity monitoring as defined by the World Health Organization (WHO).

We believe that by providing objective, actionable insights into muscle health, we can help prevent the negative health outcomes of frailty and support a future where everyone can age with strength and independence.

Our Story: A Journey of Science and Innovation

The Eforto® solution is built on a foundation of over 25 years of research from our key scientific partners, the “Frailty in Ageing Research Group” at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. In 2019, UniWeb, a software company with over two decades of experience in digital health solutions, partnered with leading academic experts to translate this deep scientific knowledge into an accessible technology.

Through a series of grant-funded research and development projects (FORTO 1.0, FORTO 2.0, and ISHA), we have developed and clinically validated the Eforto® system across multiple real-world settings, including community-dwelling older adults, hip fracture patients and hospitalized geriatric patients. This journey has culminated in the first validated effort test to monitor WHO-defined biomarkers for vitality capacity, bringing a lab-quality assessment into a user-friendly, 5-minute test.

Our patented technology is now being adopted by researchers and healthcare providers worldwide, marking a new chapter in our mission to make vitality monitoring a standard of care.
